Stop & Shop Brand Plain Ring Pound Creme Cake Recalled

Boston, MA (SafetyAlerts) - Stop & Shop Supermarket Company today announced the recall of 15 oz. Stop & Shop brand plain ring pound creme cake because the product contains eggs which were not declared on the label.

Consumers who have an allergy to eggs may experience a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled cakes were sold at the in-store bake shop in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island

Persons with allergies to eggs may return it to any Stop & Shop store for a full refund. Customers with questions should call the company at 1-800-767-7772.
