Oroweat Super Onion Bagels Recalled for Undeclared Hazelnuts

Englewood Cliffs, NJ (SafetyAlerts) Bestfoods Baking Company has announced it is recalling certain lots of its Oroweat Super Onion Bagels. The bagels may contain undeclared hazelnuts.

Consumers that have an allergy or sensitivity to hazelnuts can experience serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume them.

The Oroweat Super Onion Bagels are sold in 20 oz. packages with 6 bagels per pack.  The recalled bagels can be identified by either a green locking tab with the code P4 and the date of October 21, or by a red locking tab with the code P4 and the date of October 21.

The product was distributed in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Consumers are being advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.

Consumers with questions can call Bestfoods Baking Company at 800-356-3314 for a replacement coupon.
