Northwest Gourmet Smoked Salmon Pate Recalled

Dundee, OR (SafetyAlerts) - Northwest Gourmet has today announced the recall of certain 3.5 ounce packages of their Smoked Salmon Pate because the horseradish used in the pate was found to contain egg yolks that were not declared on the label.

There have been no reports of illnesses or reactions associated with this product.  Northwest Gourmet is issuing this recall to reduce the chance of illness.

The Smoked Salmon Pate affected by this recall is marked with the lot numbers 2561006 through 2561130, 110499 and 120499.

The pate was sold nationwide and in certain airports.

Persons with allergies or sensitivities to egg products should not consume the pate, but should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
