TX (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Frito-Lay Inc. is recalling certain Doritos
Toasted Corn Chips because the product, labeled as Doritos Toasted Corn Chips, actually
contains Cooler Ranch Corn Chips.
The Cooler Ranch product contains
dairy ingredients, a soy ingredient, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Red No. 40, and
FD&C Blue No. 1 which are not listed as ingredients on the Doritos.
This is the first public notice of
this Class II
recall issued by FDA.
Doritos Toasted Corn Chips, 14.5 ounces.

3,300 packages were distributed.
