Lay's Brand Classic Potato Chips Recalled

First public notice issued by FDA of 'completed recall'...

Plano, TX (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Frito-Lay Inc. is recalling certain Lay's brand Classic Potato Chips because bags labeled as "Classic Potato Chips" actually contain "Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips."

The "Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips" contain dairy ingredients which are not listed on the "Classic Potato Chip" product’s label.

This is the first public notice of this Class II recall issued by FDA.

Lay's brand Classic Potato Chips, net weight 5-1/2 ounces.
