Allergy Alert: 'Pickled Leek' Recalled  by BCN Trading

Brooklyn, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that BCN Trading Corporation is recalling its Asian Boy brand Pickled Leek, in 15-ounce glass jars because the product contains undeclared sulfites.

This is the first public notice of this Class I recall issued by FDA.

RECALLED BY
BCN Trading Corporation, Brooklyn, New York (importer), by letter dated March 9, 2000 and press release on March 3, 2000. **Completed recall resulted from sample analysis and follow-up by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

**Completed recall: While the FDA has completed processing of this particular recall, it does not mean this particular product has been fully accounted for.

DISTRIBUTION
New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, District of Columbia.
