Target Non-Aspirin Pain Reliever Tablets Recalled by Lenier Health Products

Carson, CA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that Lenier Health Products, Inc., is recalling its Target Non-Aspirin Pain Reliever Tablets, in 500-count bottles because of a product mix-up - presence of buffered aspirin (325 mg) in some bottles.

This is the first public notice of this Class II recall issued by FDA.

Lenier Health Products, Inc., Carson, California, by letter on August 10, 2000. Firm-initiated recall ongoing.

Minnesota, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Wisconsin, Oregon, Indiana, Virginia, Texas.

400 cases (6 bottles per case) were distributed; firm estimates none remains on the market.
