GA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Solvay Pharmaceuticals is recalling certain
Estratab® Tablets because of a firm withdrawal of application (stability data).
This is the first public notice of
this Class III
issued by FDA.
Estratab(r) Tablets (Esterified Estrogens Tablets, USP), 2.5 mg, in
100-count bottles. NDC #0032-1025-01.
Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Baudette, Minnesota.
Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Marietta, Georgia, by letter on August 23, 2000. Firm-initiated
16,418 units were distributed.
