Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Custom Food Group is recalling certain Catfish
Po-Boy and Chicken Fried Steak Sandwiches because the products contained undeclared
FD&C Yellow No. 5.
This is the first public notice of
this Class II
recall issued by FDA.
Custom Food Group Sandwiches, sold in vending machines:
a) Catfish Po-Boy Sandwich, 8 ounces;
b) Chicken Fried Steak on a Bun Sandwich, 6.5 ounces.

Custom Food Group, Dallas, Texas.
Manufacturer, by letter on September 21, 2000. Firm-initiated recall **complete.
**Completed recall: While the FDA has completed
processing of this particular recall, it does not mean this particular product has been
fully accounted for.
a) 195 units; b) 890 units were distributed.
