Chef's Choice Chicken Stir Fry
Recalled For Undeclared Dairy
St. Louis, MO (SafetyAlerts) - Sea Coast Foods, Inc.
has voluntarily recalled 36-ounce bags of Chef's Choice Chicken Stir Fry because it
contains an undeclared whey protein concentrate.
The outer retail bag does not list the
whey product, however, the inner packet containing the meat does display this
allergen as an ingredient.
The recalled product can be identified by the UPC
code of 1860921471 and one of the three affected date codes of X9363N, X0040N, and X0091N.
The X represents a line number from 1 to 3. The code date is embossed at the top of
the bag, above the tear strip.
The stir fry was distributed in Connecticut,
Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York,
North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia.
The company has not received any complaints in
received any consumer complaints in regards to this problem.
