Darigold and Sparkle Brand Ice Creams Recalled

Seattle, WA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that West Farm Foods is recalling its Darigold and Sparkle brand Ice Creams because the product is unfit for food due to contamination with ammonia.

This is the first public notice of this Class III recall issued by FDA.

Darigold Ice Cream in cardboard cartons:
a) Very Vanilla
b) Summer Strawberry
c) Pecan Danish
d) Gooey Cluster
e) White Chocolate Raspberry
f) Black Cherry Chunk

Sparkle brand Ice creams in Cardboard cartons:
g) Vanilla
h) Chocolate.

All half gallon ice cream production of April 20, 21, and
22, 2000.
