Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Blooming Import Company, Inc. is conducting
a recall of certain dried cuttlefish because it does not declare the ingredient star
Dried Cuttlefish, in 6-ounce flexible plastic packages.
Recall #F-758-0. Class III
Daxin Hua Feng Food Company, Ltd., Taishan City, Guangdong, China.
Blooming Import Company, Inc., Brooklyn, New York, by letter dated December 7, 1999.
Completed field correction (relabeling) resulted from sample analysis and follow-up by the
New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. This is the first public
notice issued by the FDA.
47 cases (50 units per case) were imported.
