WA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Paninis From Heaven is conducting a recall
of certain Vegetable, Chicken Salad, Turkey, Italian Salame and Roast Beef Sandwiches,
wrapped in cellophane, because the products contain undeclared eggs as a component
ingredient of mayonnaise.
According to FDA this recall affects
the code of 0505, which is located on a white sticker label. Approximately 3,500
sandwiches are distributed on a weekly basis in Washington state.
People who have allergies to certain
foods run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these

was initiated by the company, by visit May 4 and 5, 2000. This is the first public
notice issued by the FDA. The FDA has stated that the company has completed all
required recall procedures.
