Tuv Taam Brand Cole Slaw Recalled

Brooklyn, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Tuv Taam Corporation is recalling Tuv Taam brand Cole Slaw, in 14-ounce rigid plastic containers, because the product contained undeclared potassium sorbate.

Approximately 15,000 packages were distributed in New York and New Jersey.  This recall affects all codes.

This Class III recall was initiated by Tuv Taam Corporation, by visit starting on December 8, 1999.  This is the first public notice issued by the FDA.  The FDA has stated that the company has completed all required recall procedures.
