Brooklyn, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) today reported that Murray International Trading is recalling CWB
Herb brand Pueraria Lobata (Chinese herb), in 16-ounce clear plastic bag, because the
product contained undeclared sulfites.
Around 70 packages were distributed
in New York and bear no codes.
This Class I recall
was initiated by Murray International, by letter and press release on September 14, 1999,
followed by visit. This is the first public notice issued by the FDA. The FDA
has stated that the company has completed all recall procedures.
