Wagner's Assorted Milk Chocolates Recalled

Finleyville, PA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Wagner Candy is recalling certain Wagner's Assorted Milk Chocolates, in 1-pound box, because the product contains undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 5 and sulfites.

According to Wagner's, about  50 units remained on the market in Pennsylvania, at time of recall initiation.  This recall affects all product in distribution.

This ongoing Class II recall was initiated by Wagner Candy, by visit beginning January 13, 2000.  This is the first public notice issued by the FDA.
