Land O'Lakes Orange Juice Plus Calcium Recalled for Undeclared Pineapple

Arden Hills, MN (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Land O'Lakes, Inc. is recalling Land O'Lakes Orange Juice Plus Calcium From Concentrate because the product contained undeclared pineapple juice.

The recalled juice, manufactured by Foremost Farms, of Madison, Wisconsin, was sold in half- gallon (1.89L) containers and can be identified by the code of Oct 31 M followed by 1854E through 1940E.

According to FDA, the juice was distributed in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.  The firm estimates none remains on the market.

This Class II recall was initiated by Land O'Lakes by visit on or about October 1, 1998.  This is the first public notice issued by the FDA.  The FDA considers this recall to be complete.
