and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that George J. Howe Company is recalling certain
Here's Howe Trail Mix because the product contains undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 6.
This is the first public notice of
this Class II
issued by FDA.
Here's Howe Trail Mix, in 4-ounce plastic bags.
Lot Numbers: 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 (indicate weeks of manufacturing).
George J. Howe Company, Grove City, Pennsylvania.
Manufacturer, by visit beginning July 10, 2000. Completed recall resulted from sample
analysis and follow-up by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
**Completed recall: While the FDA has completed
processing of this particular recall, it does not mean this particular product has been
fully accounted for.
New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio.
49.5 cases (12 bags per case) were distributed.
