1999 Volkswagen Jettas Recalled
Washington, DC (SafetyAlerts) - The National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration today published the recall of certain 1999 Volkswagen Jettas
manufactured between January - July 1999 because some of these vehicles do not comply with
the head injury criterion requirements of FMVSS No. 201, "Occupant Protection in
Interior Impact." This could increase the risk of head injury in a crash.
Approximately 67,076 vehicles are affected by this
