Manufactured: 09/1997 - 07/1999

Defect Summary:
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. THE REAR FENDER FRONT MOUNTING TABS SECURING THE REAR FENDER CAN FRACTURE, CAUSING THE REAR FENDER TO BREAK AWAY FROM THE FRAME AND DROP ONTO THE REAR TIRE.

Consequence Summary:
THIS COULD RESULT IN TIRE DAMAGE AND UNINTENDED BRAKING ACTION.

Corrective Summary:
BIG DOG HAS NOT YET PROVIDED A REMEDY OR OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN.
