Detroit, MI (SafetyAlerts) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has published a recall affecting 2000 TRIUMPH DAYTONA 955I , SPEED TRIPLE , SPRINT RS , SPRINT ST , TIGER , TT600 manufactured between 05/2000 - 10/2000 .

efect Summary:
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. THE CLUTCH CONTROL CABLE CAN FRAY AND FAIL. THE BARREL AT THE END OF THE INNER CABLE SEIZES IN THE CONTROL LEVER BORE, THEREBY STRESSING THE INNER CABLE.

Consequence Summary:
THIS CAUSES THE RIDER TO BE UNABLE TO ENGAGE THE CLUTCH.

Corrective Summary:
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CLUTCH CABLE.
