Volvo Recalls 1999 and 2000 S-80 Model Cars

Volvo S80 recalledStockholm, Sweden (SafetyAlerts) - Volvo Car Corp. said today they are recalling certain 1999 and 2000 model year S-80 sedans because a front ball joint may experience more than average wear causing increased play in the steering and decreased durability. A spokesperson for Volvo stated the problem could also affect performance.

The recall is to start immediately, the company expects the recall to take about six months to complete. Owners will be notified by mail how to have the part replaced free of charge.
