1999 Ferrari 360 Modena and 360 Modena F1 Automobiles Recalled
Detroit, MI (SafetyAlerts) - The National Highway
Transportation Administration (NHTSA) has published the recall of certain 1999
Ferrari 360 Modena and 360 Modena F1 automobiles because the ABS (anti-lock braking
system)/ASR (traction control system) electronic control unit is affected by an error in
production by the supplier.
According to NHTSA, the ABS function will
not activate, allowing vehicle instability under very hard braking.
173 of these vehicles, manufactured between
December, 1998 through October, 1999 are affected by this recall.
Dealers will replace the ABS/ASR electronic
control unit. The manufacturer has reported that owner notification began during April

reasonable time should contact Ferrari at 1-201-816-2651.
